in the Vineyard

The Inspiration

Jenn & Tyler brought an exquisite romantic summer vision to their vineyard estate wedding. They also brought espresso martinis in cute cans, a supply of late night ramen noodle cups, their dapper pup kato bearing rings and a pair of wooden geese as a ceremonial korean gift from tyler to his new mother-in-law.

the weekend was timeless northern michigan style with fun creative moments that showcased jenn & tyler’s thoughtful personalities.

That flowered aisle, though…

The willow tree of Aurora Cellars is an unparalleled moment unto itself but from the beginning, Jenn envisioned a flowered aisle with wooden crossback chairs. It was the perfect frame to their vows with a bonus feature of Kato (pup) tucked among the flowers until it was time to exchange the rings he carried.

Travel tag to table

This wedding made our luggage tag seating display dreams come true. Each guest’s tag indicated a “destination” table and tables were named for places Jenn & Tyler had traveled to, complete with photos of the pair in their travels. The luggage tags not only made for a striking display under the walnut tree with some ground floral to accent, they also made practical favors.

Tendrils in the Tent

When the outdoor scene is so lovely, we like guests to feel like they’re still “outdoors”, even when they come into the tent for dinner. We like a little drape to soften the scene and really to frame the views of vines and willow tree.

Delicate vines adorned the center poles under Aurora’s wooden beaded chandeliers. Tendrils of greenery and soft blooms reached over the clean lines of coupe plates topped in barest blush napkins tied with twine. Tucked gently into the twine, a sweet spray rose and sprig of greenery carried the romantic detail under every guest’s name card.

Luxurious in the most natural way. Summer romance in every sense.

Dress change with a rainbow moment

We will always support an outfit change for the dance party and Jenn’s second dress was as gorgeous as her first. As dinner transitioned to evening festivites, the VW Photobus pulled up next to the vines and set up under the presence of an unexpected and highly photographed rainbow.

We set up our first ever ramen noodle cup tower as late night snack. Brilliant idea from Jenn & Tyler and fully appreciated by guests as every cup was claimed between dance moves.
