Snowy Soiree

When Christy & Andrew came to me with their vision of a snowy outdoor ceremony followed by a snowboard run down the mountain, I was thrilled. This adventurous winter-loving couple said “I do” on a cowskin rug in front of a crackling fire while guests sipped hot chocolate spiked with kahlua. Evergreen boughs, pampas grass, and luxe protea blooms adorned the stone mantle around a custom sign. During cocktail hour, the newlyweds took the first run of their married life on snowboards down a snowy slope.

Antlers, pampas grass, and evergreen boughs adorned the head table while wooden chargers, smoky goblets, and modern black flatware tied in winterberry red velvet ribbon adorned each place setting. Cakes in festive February designs were the centerpieces at each guest table and people were encouraged to mingle and try each other’s cake flavors.
