She is incredibly thoughtful, kind, and upbeat, and when she shares her options she does so in such a friendly and well-meaning manner. She is professional, and detail-oriented, and she not only brought my event to life but she made it better than I ever could have dreamed it could be. There just aren’t words to adequately capture Stacy’s amazingness. She is the most incredible person and wedding planner, ever. She made our wedding weekend more perfect than we could have ever dreamed.
Stacy diligently made sure that not a single detail was left undone. She made amazing things happen for us; from finding hop flowers in June for the groomsmen’s boutonnieres to coordinating babysitters for our reception, to picking up cigars and scotch, transporting rented items to and from their rightful owners and worked so thoughtfully with our vendors to set up a wedding reception and day-after brunch that completely blew us away.
We don’t live in Traverse City so having her there locally with her amazing and joyful attitude made everything so enjoyable to plan. Having Stacy with us along our wedding journey was the best decision we’ve ever made. Not only did she help us have the wedding of our dreams but we also gained a new best friend in the process. We miss Stacy so much now that our wedding is over but now feel so incredibly blessed to call her a friend.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Stacy was phenomenal! We asked for a mixture of traditional and non-traditional elements in our wedding experience and she delivered exactly what we requested. In addition, she thought of all the details we would have otherwise missed (like a microphone for the minister who was performing our ceremony in front of large fountains, and countless other important details). Stacy did a wonderful job helping to plan our wedding last March. While I was living in Dallas, Texas she helped put together a fantastic wedding weekend in Tabernash, Colorado.
I have heard from many brides that planning a wedding in the city you are not located in is very stressful but Stacy made the process quite simple. She never missed any details and was always thinking ahead to make sure we did not miss anything.

Best. Planner. EVER! We had pretty much done everything on our own and were not planning on using a wedding planner for anything. We got to the point where we just needed some help getting our final decorations figured out and some help with communicating with our vendors and venue with all of the general questions that most couples have. We are both in school full-time and work full-time and needed help in these areas.
We contacted JA and got paired up with Stacy [then with JA Special Events]. The money we spent for that turned out to be well spent! Because we were so far into the process already she didn’t have as much to do but we sure got our money’s worth with her. We had some face-to-face appointments with her and she was more than happy to travel 40 miles from her home to meet with us. She took care of all the vendor contact and finding lights and rentals for us to help save us money and make our event more beautiful and special. She ran errands and picked things up for us on the day-of so we would have nothing to worry about. She set everything up on our tables and took everything down, kept it for a few days and brought it back to our house after the event.
She was super friendly to us, our families and our guests. Everyone loved her as did we. We recommend Stacy for all of your planning whether just starting out or almost to the day. You won’t be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of working with Stacy for our destination wedding in Colorado. Being that it was a destination wedding adds a bit to the stress of not being able to physically be at the location to get it organized and set up.
